Our Bikes
Hand-picked to provide sustained comfort during your cycle, our hybrid Discovery bikes are perfect for family leisure spins and for groups wishing to explore the area.
We have three sizes of Ladies Discovery Bikes (small, medium and large)
Two sizes of Gents bikes (medium and large) to cater for adults from 4’10” to well over 6’.
We also have a fleet of 28” wheel Apollo MTBs, small, medium and large).
Electric Bikes
We operate a sizeable fleet of Kuma eBikes – designed and manufactured in Ireland.
These eBikes are very comfortable and equipped with a front and rear rack. They are high performance, long range and ideal for a day out in the region.
Please note, we are only able to rent eBikes to people over 16 years of age.
Kids Equipment
We have the perfect bikes for even the youngest riders with a wide range of kids equipment available:
- Child Seats (max 22kg).
- Single (max 18kg) & Double (max 32kg) Child Trailers to carry 1 or 2 children.
- Piggyback Trailer for children 5 – 8 years old that can’t quite ride their own bike yet.
- Kids Bikes from 16” wheel (height from 3’5”) through to 28” wheel (height to 5’8”)

Book Your Bike With Us With Confidence!
This is Ireland ! There are days when it will just rain and that’s that ! We want our guests to be confident that if the weather is against us all, you won’t lose your money or feel obliged to ride in the rain.
So, if the local forecast is grim ( a combination of checking National forecasts and ‘Louth Weather’ on Facebook !), we will announce a Wet Day and you can either keep your booking for a future date or on request, we will refund your money.
If you really want to go ahead regardless, no problem either, but at least you have the choice.
We think that’s fair enough !
Plans change, we get it ! So you have booked and paid but something crops up and you just want to change your booking and come on a Different Day.
Not a problem – we just require two hours minimum notice so that we can put the bikes back into the on-line stock and have a chance to hire them out.
Same applies – as long as you give the two hours’ notice, we’ll hold your booking or refund on request.
We think that’s fair enough as well !
Sorry, but no show with no notice or less than two hours notice means that we can’t even try to resell the bikes that day.
We’ll still be as reasonable as we can be such circumstances but no show, no notice, no call to 087 992 1559 and our default position for No Shows is that you have lost your booking.
Like not turning up for a concert or a footie match . . Fair enough ?
All bookings have a start and a return time.
If you arrive late then whilst we will accommodate you if we have spare capacity and we possibly can, on some days the bike you’ve on is booked back out again soon after you’re due to finish and it has been sanitised.
Default position for Late Shows is that the hire period ends when scheduled.
It’s not fair on our other guests to have their scheduled ride delayed or disrupted. As we said, we’ll accommodate you if we can but on a busy weekend, it is unlikely to be possible.
We hope that you understand our Wet Day, Different Day, No Show and Late Show policies and consider them to be fair and reasonable.
The convenience of our On-Line booking system has enabled us to have bikes pre-allocated and ‘ready to ride’, reducing queuing to an absolute minimum, getting all our guests ‘On Yer Bike’ with no hassle – in one end, out the other from our extended, COVID adapted depot – and in no time, enjoying a ride along the magnificent Carlingford Lough Greenway.
We’re nice people, we’ll always be as flexible as we possibly can be but at the end of the day, we’re running a business and the satisfaction of our guests is our guiding principle.

Kuma EBikes S2 Step-Through
Our stylish Kuma S2 eBikes are designed to be comfortable to ride, without compromising on style, and are fitted with custom front and rear racks, mudguards and a handy kickstand.
Kuma Bikes are an innovative Irish eBike manufacturer with a range of eBikes that are available to rent and to buy from OnYerBike here in Louth.
Kuma S2 ebikes are powered by 500wh Samsung batteries meaning it is capable of 100km+ on a single charge.
With a Shimano drivetrain and Tektro Hydraulic brakes, and fast-rolling Kenda tyres, the Kuma S2 eBike is the perfect bike to cruise around Carlingford and the Cooley Peninsula in comfort and style.
Our Kuma eBikes are available for two hour, four hour and full day hire.
Helmets are provided along with suggestions as to how you might spend your amazing day out ! We have two sizes and colours – Small/Medium and Medium/Large in both Teal Blue and Bronze.
All bikes will be sized and adjusted to your requirements when you pick up your bike. The frame sizes vs height are approximate guides.
