OUR NEW PLAN FOR YOU
Our aim at Carlingford Bike Hire is to ensure that our customers come away from a day on our bikes feeling they have experienced the very best this area has to offer.
Established in 2016, in 2022 we combined our operations with Award Winning ‘OnYerBike’ to provide an ever increasing range of options for our customers.
We have an extensive fleet of comfortable, well maintained bikes selected to ensure that you enjoy your spin out on a bike. Our local staff are friendly and knowledgeable, fully trained to ensure that you will be provided with a bike most suited to your needs.
Our fleet includes top quality adult and kids’ bikes. We also have a range of accessories for our bicycles including child seats & trailers ensuring that the whole family can experience the best activity the Cooley Peninsula has to offer.
We cater for hens and stags, corporate, social and sporting groups. We can offer guided tours for groups by arrangement, led by a qualified Cycling Ireland Ride Leader.

Our Bikes
Hand-picked to provide sustained comfort during your cycle, our hybrid Discovery bikes are perfect for family leisure spins and for groups wishing to explore the area.
We have three sizes of Ladies Discovery Bikes (small, medium and large)
Two sizes of Gents bikes (medium and large) to cater for adults from 4’10” to well over 6’.
We also have a fleet of 28” wheel Apollo MTBs, small, medium and large).
Electric Bikes
We operate a sizeable fleet of Kuma eBikes – designed and manufactured in Ireland.
These eBikes are very comfortable and equipped with a front and rear rack. They
are high performance, long range and ideal for a day out in the region.
Please note, we are only able to rent eBikes to people over 16 years of age.
Kids Equipment
We have the perfect bikes for even the youngest riders with a wide range of kids equipment available:
- Child Seats (max 22kg).
- Single (max 18kg) & Double (max 32kg) Child Trailers to carry 1 or 2 children.
- Piggyback Trailer for children 5 – 8 years old that can’t quite ride their own bike yet.
- Kids Bikes from 16” wheel (height from 3’5”) through to 28” wheel (height to 5’8”)
